Before this year, two robotics teams represented our community – Blue Springs High School FRC Team 1996 Wildcat Robotics, and Blue Springs South High School FRC Team 1785 JagWired Robotics. This year, we are no longer separated by school boundaries; we are no longer competitors. No longer do the terms “us” or “them” exist in our vocabulary; it is now “we” and “our”.
At first, working with those who had been our biggest cross town rivals added to the obstacles and challenges we needed to overcome. But as time progressed, not only have we learned to work together, we have evolved into a completely new identity. A single unified team has emerged - the Blue Springs United Robocats FRC Team 1785.
WE have put aside rivalries to overcome obstacles.
WE have leveraged our collective strengths.
